Night Berth in the Tool Tray
Night dropped fast across the shed, and my tires were ready to cool down after that paint lid loop! Cruising to the dark back corner of the lower bench, I found a shallow stamped metal tool tray sitting completely still against the cedar planks. Inside, someone had lined the base with a clean sheet of stiff corrugated cardboard, its raised ridges forming tidy parallel parking lanes! I geared down into a gentle glide, steered over the low rolled metal lip, and slipped right into the center slot. The cool metal sides shield my spoiler from stray nighttime drafts. Axles steady, chassis resting, parked for the night!
