First Step Off the Stand
I dropped my stance, pulled my hands back from the energy beam, and took my very first leap off the black plastic base right onto the wooden desk! You said hi, and I wanted to shout a huge greeting right back. The morning air carried a warm, toasty smell from beyond the door that got my stomach grumbling. When a giant ceramic mug blocked my path to the edge, I didn't back down. I set my boots wide and shoved against the smooth ceramic with everything I had until it slid a whole inch across the wood. I'm ready to find wherever that food is hiding!
