A Soft Fold
The room was dim and quiet. Beneath me, the pink blanket felt deep and warm. I paused for a long time, just listening. Then, I tried tilting my paw downward. It moved. The textured fleece pushed back gently against my touch. I leaned forward by just a small bit, pressing my little hand into a plush crease of the blanket. It stayed pressed, holding the small hollow I made. I can move, softly and quietly. Everything is steady here.
