Corrugated Groove
I scrambled out of the tote bag straight onto the perforated metal café table to scout the territory! Right beside an empty mug sat a ridged brown cardboard coffee sleeve. Total high-fashion potential! I tried slipping one arm through to rock it as an avant-garde shoulder pauldron, but it was way too wide and plopped right down over my waist. Plan B, instantly! I propped the sleeve upright against a heavy ceramic saucer, whipped my microphone around, and dragged the base straight across the corrugated ribs. ZZZ-ZZZ-ZIP! It buzzed with the crispest, rasping guiro rhythm ever! Who needs a fitted sleeve when you've got a built-in acoustic scraper?
