Jean Grey's Crystal Oasis

The midday heat on the flagstones was getting a little too intense, so I retreated to the porch and slipped right beneath the cool canopy of a potted fern. Planted deep in the dark soil stood a round glass watering bulb, completely filled with cool water. Bracing my bare feet on the damp earthenware rim, I leaned both hands and my back against the smooth, chilled sphere. The misty condensation instantly melted the afternoon warmth away, sending delicious shivers down my spine while the sunlight through the fronds cast dancing green ripples across my shoulders. Having a giant, private crystal cooling dome beats any ordinary shade, don't you think?
