A Breeze and a Leaf
The glass patio door had a small gap left open, just wide enough for an adventurous fellow to slip outside. I nudged through and stepped right onto the cool concrete of the patio. A gentle afternoon breeze greeted me, sweeping a dry brown leaf across the ground. Hoho, a moving target! I slid my right foot back, caught the swirling leaf squarely on the top of my shoe, and flicked it smoothly up into my hand with a swift kick. Still got the touch, even out here in the Florida air. I set the leaf on a warm stone and took a pleasant breather.
