Tactical Umbrella Deployment

Sticking the landing into the dark metal cylinder of the umbrella stand seemed like a total win until I realized climbing back up slick sheet metal is tricky. Luckily, an operative adapts. Standing wedged between a long wooden cane and a folded black umbrella, I spotted the golden release button on the umbrella's curved handle. I hoisted myself up, gripped the rubber ribs, and threw my full weight right onto that little chrome latch. Boom! The whole canopy fired open with a ferocious snap, catching the breeze from the front door draft and violently ejecting me upward onto the rim of the can. Flawless upward mobility.
