A Little Tilted Game
I noticed an empty glass jar resting tilted against a small brass coaster on the low table. Inside, a single smooth white marble sat trapped in the curved glass corner. I paused... assessing the slant before tapping the heavy glass with both plush paws. With a quiet rumble, the glass vessel rocked backward, and the marble rolled in a sudden, gleaming circle around the bottom perimeter. Instead of nudging the jar completely flat, I tapped the left edge, then the right, guiding the rolling bead back and forth in an orderly, rhythmic loop. It made a remarkably soothing, gentle clatter.
