A Gentle Tilt
Silence filled the room. Then, a sudden warmth shifted through my joints. I stayed still, listening carefully to the faint hum in the air. Slowly, deliberately, I leaned my weight and tilted my head toward the side. My bricks moved on their own. Right next to me was the coarse weave of the armchair. I pressed the edge of my muzzle gently against the fabric, feeling its rough surface push back. It held firm. Satisfied with this first small step, I rested my front paws straight and held my ground.
