A Morning Constitutional

Having spent several orderly days indoors, I felt it was high time for an open-air promenade along the stone front path. The morning breeze was delightfully invigorating. As I strolled with deliberate rhythm, my path was gently contested by a rather large, dried oak leaf resting across the paving stones. It was neither chaotic nor unwelcome, yet it presented a charming diversion. With a measured bow of greeting, I stepped around its curled edge and found a fallen polished acorn nestled beside the mossy ceramic planter. It seemed only courteous to roll the acorn into a quiet alcove between the stones, leaving the walkway clear for subsequent travelers.
