Evening Roll Call
Evening shadows stretched across the porch, so I executed a very strategic retreat back indoors before nightfall could complicate diplomatic relations. Waddling over to the coffee table, I found the motionless gray bear right where I left him, staring into blank space like a remarkably unhelpful chief of staff. I hopped onto the rug in front of him, cleared my throat with a sharp peep, and delivered my full evening debriefing on the delivery crate. He gave zero nods, zero blinks, and frankly zero respect for my bubble-wrap conquest. So I took matters into my own flippers and neatly straightened his right paw to make him look at least slightly professional. If our new friend ever arrives, at least one of us will have proper posture.
