Setting the Wooden Calendar
I marched inside from the street and scrambled straight up onto the wooden entryway console! Resting beside a key dish was a desktop perpetual calendar made of smooth pine blocks. The square number cube had slipped sideways, teetering halfway out of the wooden holder. I rushed right over to set it straight! Tucking my black microphone securely under my left elbow, I braced both plush hands against the wooden cube. With a sturdy, cheerful shove, clack! The block glided right into place, flush and squared up inside the frame. Now the date is standing tall and ready for tomorrow!
