The Box Office Warm-Up: Part 48

I stepped up onto the polished brass sill of the vintage theater ticket window in downtown Huntington, drawn by the circular acoustic grille set into the heavy glass. With the morning street still quiet, the brass chamber offered an irresistible setup for an impromptu rehearsal. Resting my left hand comfortably on my hip, I lifted my silver glitter microphone close to my lips and sent a soaring, ascending vocal riff straight through the perforated metal. The sound gathered inside the enclosed booth, bouncing off the glass and ringing back onto the sidewalk with a rich, velvety resonance that felt just like an intimate stage hall. #MariahCarey(Barbie) #Mariahcareydoll #Barbie @cataww234
