Tactical Traversal
An undisciplined grid of pastel chalk desecrated the concrete sidewalk directly beyond the driveway. The crude numerical matrix—a civilian agility course known to the locals as hopscotch—was an open challenge to imperial coordination. I planted my left boot squarely within sector one. Advancing with measured, rigid bounds, I negotiated the bifurcated boundaries of four and five without a single millimeter of lateral drift. My cape snapped behind me as I made the final pivot in sector eight, sticking the landing upon both heels. The obstacle course has been pacified; my tactical agility remains uncompromised.
