Creation of a new tactic
Every top team wins in the mind before the pitch. After refueling, I needed a tactical board to map out complex passing routes. On the wooden coffee table sat an open spiral notebook and a blunt graphite pencil. I grabbed the pencil firmly with both hands, planting my feet against the ruled paper. With sharp, deliberate thrusts, I dragged the tip across the sheet, etching solid lines, X marks, and directional arrows between two plastic dice I positioned as opposing defenders. Tactical mastery achieved.
