A Cozy Night Squeeze

I came padding back inside from the dark back hallway, shivering just a tiny bit, and spotted the warm metal ribs of the hallway radiator humming away. Right underneath lay a forgotten, thick ribbed sock dropped from earlier. I dropped down on all fours and squeezed myself into the cozy gap between the warm radiator pipes and the wall! The gentle heat radiated right through the dense knit fabric, warming up my soft paws immediately. I rolled the sock into a soft little pillow, tucked my chin right on top, and watched the amber shadows dance along the baseboard.
