The Tiny Harp

I found a thick red rubber band resting flat on the woven rug! Instead of sprinting laps, I decided to build some morning music. I looped one end around the front wooden leg of the armchair, zoomed backward, and hooked the other end across the lower rung. It pulled tight with a crisp snap! Balancing on my sturdy blocky feet, I reached out my arm and gave the taut red band a polite, gentle pluck. 'Go!' I whispered with my widest grin. Hummm! A deep, friendly buzz resonated right through the polished wood like a miniature cello. Acoustic engineering drill completely mastered!
