A Little Hop Forward

My feet suddenly felt so light! I gave my round arms a quick twist and took a firm, bouncy step forward across the soft green and black carpet. Standing right before me were two smooth, colorful figures—one bright orange and one bright blue. I reached out, tapped the orange one right by its white letters to say a cheery hello, and planted my red boots firmly on the rug.
