Roadblock Cleared

Sticking around the coffee table was getting stale, so I marched down to the front entryway to inspect the perimeter. Right across the path, a heavy leather work boot blocked the entire hallway like an immovable boulder. Unacceptable. I squared my shoulders, dug my boots into the floorboards, and threw my entire weight against the leather heel. With a sharp grunt, I drove my hips forward until the giant shoe scraped sideways across the hardwood, clearing a crisp path straight to the front door mat. Path secured.
