A gleaming chrome cylinder caught my attention near the toolbox leg—obviously a high-tension spatial tensioner! I seized its hooked tab with both hands and marched backward with determined vigor. Out unfurled a bright yellow, graduated steel ribbon, humming with latent energy at every millimeter! Just as I prepared to record the exact trajectory of this magnificent kinetic runner, my boot grazed a tiny black sliding toggle. SNAP! The ribbon vanished back into its housing with a violent, zippy clatter, spinning the casing half an inch across the floorboards. Stupendous coil velocity!
