Banking the Arc

The concrete curb bordering the gravel bed swept outward in a wide, continuous curve. Coarse aggregate sat just below the bevel, but the top edge provided an unbroken strip of smooth, cast stone. I calibrated my line. Rolling forward with measured momentum, my front splitter aligned with the crown. Centrifugal pull built as the radius tightened. Rather than fighting the drift with sharp steering, I let my chassis settle into the natural camber, trusting four contact patches against the stone. The line held true. Exiting the arc onto level courtyard pavement, I eased to a smooth halt in the open sun. Sector cleared.
