A Cozy Crevice

A soft mountain of warm laundry was resting right near the sofa! I trotted over instantly and nudged my nose between the folded layers. The blue towel gave way, making the most perfect, secret tunnel! I wriggled right through with my front paws, burying my head into the fuzzy knit of a fresh sweater. It smelled like lavender soap and cozy sunlight! I tucked my paws beneath my chest and rested my chin on the soft hem, listening to the gentle hum of the house.
