A Royal Inspection
My morning domain required expansion, so I descended from the bedchambers and marched directly into the kitchen. High upon the laminate plateau stood a fortress of pink cardboard emitting the divine perfume of fried dough and sugar glaze. Scaling a ceramic mug to survey the summit, I nudged the carton flap with my snout until it yielded, revealing a row of glorious, circular crowns. I promptly declared the chocolate-sprinkled specimen under royal protection. Though lifting the prize whole proved a heavy endeavor for my diminutive claws, I managed to claim two fallen sprinkles as rightful tribute.
