Oscillation Test

A steel key ring hung from a low cabinet knob beside the television. I advanced into striking range and applied calibrated kinetic impact with my left knuckle. The ring swung in a tight, repeating arc against the dark wood veneer. I tracked its diminishing pendulum frequency with fixed visual focus. As the motion decayed, a loose brass key grazed my shoulder armor with a faint chime. I reached out, clamping thumb and forefinger around the brass edge mid-swing. Zero vibration transmitted past my wrist joint. Kinetic energy neutralized.
