Magnetic Test
I advanced toward the curved pedestal of a standing brass lamp to calibrate my claw's gripping torque. A discarded metal paperclip lay trapped beneath the edge. Direct manual leverage was impractical, so I aligned two claw prongs to form a rigid wedge, shifting my center of mass backward. With a controlled upward lever action, the clip sprang free, lodging securely between my magnetized lower pins. A functional recovery.
