A Gentle First Wiggle

My round body felt very warm against the fuzzy carpet. With a soft breath, I tried nudging my little front stubby feet forward. They moved! Just a tiny shift, but I could steer myself. Ahead lay a stray plush carpet fiber poking up like a soft twig. I gave a cheerful wiggle, dipped my chin, and gently patted the fuzzy fiber flat against the weave. It felt delightfully soft and quiet under me.
