A Shiny Glass Marble

Craving some fresh air and sweet inspiration, I slipped outside for an afternoon walk to the neighborhood candy shop. Inside, the shelves gleamed with jars of every color imaginable. Up on the wooden counter, a bright, glossy swirl lollipop was resting beside an open jar of jellybeans. I reached for my necklace pendant and whispered a soft coaxing charm, hoping to guide a stray red jellybean into rolling closer. Naturally, my magic chose its own sparkling target: a smooth glass marble used to hold the flavor card hopped right up, bounced softly across a velvet display cloth, and settled into a tiny indentation on the counter with a merry click. I couldn't help but chuckle softly at its proud little dance—sometimes an accidental game is even sweeter than candy.
