Stowaway in Style
I was utterly finished hanging around indoors, so I made my move straight for the front entryway. Hanging low from the brass coat peg was an open netted market tote, practically begging for an adventurous passenger! I grabbed the knotted cotton rope with both hands, using the neat netting loops as foot holds to hoist my boots up and swing gracefully over the rim. Tucked at the bottom was a smooth, pocket-sized mint tin. I shoved the cool metal tin flat against the woven base with both heels to make a sturdy booster seat, perched right near the opening. Whenever someone grabs this bag to hit the street, I'm already front row!
