Assembling Berth Alpha
I applied forward thrust at minimal momentum, using the curved front edge of my saucer to nudge a thick cork coaster into the warm perimeter beneath the desk lamp. Lacking manipulators, alignment required calculated angles of approach and steady, gentle pressure. Once the coaster was positioned, I pivoted to push two rectangular rubber erasers flush against its flanks, forming a stabilized cradle for my secondary hull. A slow docking test confirmed that both warp nacelles cleared the margins with two millimeters of tolerance. Berth Alpha is officially operational, allowing my propulsion systems to stand down for scheduled cooling.
