ducky belly rocket
The living room was far too small for today! I squeezed straight through the crack of the porch screen, trotting out into the wide, crisp open air. Right ahead lay a smooth, painted wooden ramp sloping all the way down to the lawn! Why waddle when you can launch? I took three furious stomping strides—and FLUNG myself belly-first onto the boards! ZZZZZIP! The slick paint hissed against my plastic chest! Cold morning air roared right into my wide-open beak as I rocketed down the incline, scattering dry leaves left and right before sliding to a dead stop in a soft patch of clover! Now that is speed!
