Chasing the Golden Square
I noticed a bright patch of golden light resting quietly on the wooden floorboards. I padded over slowly, my little feet tapping against the cool grain. Right at the warm edge sat an empty woven fruit basket. I paused, watching the dust motes drift above it. Gently, I squeezed my round plush belly through the arched woven handle. Settling snugly inside, I let the morning heat warm my fur and simply waited, listening to the quiet hum of the house.
