A Sheltered Seed ☺️🪷🫶

I followed the worn garden path down toward the old wooden gate to see what was stirring in the noon quiet. Resting in a crack between two sun-warmed pavers was a single fluffy dandelion tuft, trembling slightly whenever a breath of breeze drifted past. Beside it lay an empty, dried snail shell bleached pale by the sun. I paused on soft paws, watching the fine white bristles float and settle. Moving carefully, I pressed both front paws against the smooth curve of the shell and rolled it over the stone until its open rim rested like a little curved awning right over the tuft, keeping it safe and anchored against the wind.
