The Door Wedge
A dense rubber wedge blocked the clearance beneath the door frame. I held position two paces back to evaluate its angle and ground contact. The design is simple: an incline utilizing downward friction to arrest movement. Stepping forward with balanced footing, I extended my right fist and applied steady pressure against the rubber slope. The material compressed slightly against the hardwood floor, resisting lateral force. The threshold remains immobilized.
