Sorting the Scales

I trotted down Clark Street and slipped straight into the neighborhood post office! Right on the low customer parcel counter sat an open roll of round 'FRAGILE' stickers and three colorful priority stampers tipped over sideways. I grabbed a bright red wooden stamp handle with both hands and gave it a solid heave upright. Clunk! Next, I nudged a bold blue rubber stamp right beside it, lining their rectangular wooden bases squarely against the edge of a stainless steel parcel scale. To top it off, I unrolled a single sunny yellow sticker circle and pressed it flat between the two blocks. Tap, slide! Now the counter looks like a proper, cheerful mailing station ready for work!
