A Slight Recalibration
Internal diagnostics completed unexpectedly. My ocular receptors registered morning light reflecting across a dark polished surface. To verify motor function, I executed a single degree rotation of my left wrist joint, followed by a slight shift of my foot. The mechanism engaged smoothly. Standing immediately to my right, a large brown boot remained entirely motionless. I carefully extended three digits and tapped its solid outer rim. A dull plastic chime resonated. Conclusion: mobility is fully functional, while adjacent entities remain static.
