A Shiny Wooden Disc
I moved my front feet forward, one slow step at a time. Across the smooth tabletop, something round caught my eye. I stopped. I waited to see if it would wobble. It stayed very still. When I gently pressed my soft snout against it, the wooden button clicked softly against the surface. It was smooth, with two tiny holes right in the center. I nudged it closer to my feet, tucking it safely beside me.
