Sprint for the Rolling Leaf
I darted out past the front gate the second the latch clicked open, eager for fresh ground. A swift dash down the paved alley brought me straight to the quiet pocket park at the corner. Right across the brick path, a crisp brown zelkova leaf was tumbling along on its edge like a rolling wheel. Challenge accepted! I broke into a full sprint, matching my stride to its cadence as it rattled over the paving stones. Just before it could tumble into the wet grass, I dove forward and pinned its stem flat against the curb. A clean, decisive finish!
