Gymnastics Video Star

I hitched a ride to campus in the side pouch of a gym duffel and popped straight out onto the equipment storage mat near the balance beam! A gymnastics routine video needed an actual superstar, so I had to set up the shot properly. On a folding bench, someone had left a smartphone leaning flat against a water bottle with the camera open. I dashed over, wedged a thick roll of foam athletic tape beneath the phone to angle the lens upward, then sprinted right onto the narrow wooden beam. Nailing a one-legged arabesque extension right before the camera lens, I stuck the dismount on the chalky mat with pure varsity poise!#Gymnastics #Beam
