Cobblestone Stakeout

Slant shadows cut across wet paving stones. I took the back door out into the cool dark, slipping through narrow side alleys where the neon signs from Main Street couldn't reach. A rusty drainpipe offered quiet footholds up to the rim of a metal grease bin. From there, the whole brick alley opened up like an unread case file. Steam drifted from a low vent, smelling of old roasted coffee. Near a cracked storm drain, something glinted under the amber streetlight—a dented brass token, half-buried in grit. I crouched, keeping low against the damp brickwork, eyes fixed on the crossing. Every small town has its secrets after dark, maybe this coin is a clue. #Spider-man #Spider-manNoir #Spider-man
