Ground Claimed
Stiffness cracked away from my tail. My jaws unlocked with a dry snap. I planted heavy claws into the soft fabric below me and let out a deep, rasping growl. Directly ahead sat a small yellow bus. An obstacle. I leaned forward and shoved it hard with my snout. It skittered a few inches across the sheet and stopped. This ground holds firm, and so do I.
