Field Test Against the Mountain

Every solid structure demands a stress test, right? When morning arrived, I spotted a giant blue ceramic mug resting beside a stack of thick hardcovers on the floor. It was taller than me! I approached cautiously, tapped the glaze to verify its density, and then dug my heels into the woven carpet fibers. Gripping the handle with both gloves, I engaged my core and tried a steady leverage lift. It didn't budge an inch, but feeling the immense resistance push back against my joints showed me exactly where my torque limits lie. Next time, I need to rethink the angle of approach!
