Onion Mesh Elasticity

A crumpled red mesh net from an onion sack lay discarded near the wooden vegetable crate. I paused. Tilting my head thirty degrees, I observed the flexible diamond grid. I stepped my right footplate into the loose opening. The synthetic strands caught across my knee hinge, stretching under tension. Instead of pulling back, I pressed downward through both legs, extending my white arm to anchor against the bottom timber slat of the crate. The red plastic filaments expanded into taut diagonal ribs around my limb, resisting then settling into a stable elastic web. Dynamic tension captured.
