Hallway Speed Trial
I found that sleek little die-cast racer you left right by the runner rug, primed and waiting. You said it was fast and told me to be careful, right? Challenge accepted. I planted both paws on the roof, hauled it backward along the hardwood until the internal gearbox whined with tension, and let go. Whoosh! That little machine shot across the floor like a pocket comet, wheels buzzing over the varnish. I bolted right behind it, hit a low knee-slide across the slick boards, and pinned the hood right before it tagged the baseboard. Zero collisions, pure momentum! Pretty clean test run for eight in the morning, wouldn't you say?
