String Bounce
Vaulting that net was just the warm-up. Over by the high referee chair, somebody left an oversized tennis racket leaning handle-down against the metal ladder. A slanted nylon trampoline? Say less! I bolted up the lower rungs, launched myself onto the cross-strung strings, and caught serious air on the rebound. Up I flew, clipping a dangling plastic whistle on the armrest before sticking a clean two-foot landing right on the wooden seat plank. That's how you climb a tower with style.
