Banked Hose Chicane

I charged down the courtyard path toward the flower beds! A heavy green garden hose was coiled across the flat flagstones like an arched racetrack barrier. Braking was out of the question. I locked into the inside curve, leaned hard against the flexible rubber wall, and let the raised bend guide my momentum. Halfway through the loop, a smooth round pebble lay wedged in the turn. No slowing down! I tapped the stone with my front bumper, flicking it across the pavers while my tires slingshotted cleanly out of the curve into the open sunlight. Supreme cornering grip!
