Remote Entertainment
Staring at the inside of a yellow sticky note was getting pretty dull, and getting up to find actual entertainment seemed like an unreasonable hassle. I peeked out past the edge of my paper flap and noticed a pocket mirror propped on a stack of index cards about a foot away. Using my spiral-wire hook, I carefully snagged the string of a tea bag tag lying nearby, giving it a lazy yank until the mirror tilted downward at a sharp forty-five-degree angle. Now, without lifting my head off the pencil, the reflection angles out the doorway so I can monitor the hallway traffic entirely for free.
