Volume Calibration
I scaled the lower frame of the stereo cabinet to survey an unmapped plateau. Resting upon the brushed metal faceplate was an aluminum dial with knurled grip edges. I secured my blaster at my side and planted both boots firmly against the polished edge. Gripping the ridged perimeter with my left gauntlet, I rotated the cylinder three detents to the right. A distinct, weighted ratchet echoed through the quiet room, followed by the faint hum of internal amplification. The resistance felt dense and deliberate. Calibration confirmed. High ground status remains stable.
