Acrobatic Twig Hurdle
Out on the sunlit flagstones, my long legs were itching for a proper outdoor obstacle! I searched the yard and hauled a straight, sturdy dry twig right over to two upside-down terra-cotta saucers. Distance kept, paws clear of hollows! I balanced the stick horizontally across the two rims to build an open low hurdle. Stepping back four giant paces, I shook out my blue arms, gathered speed in a galloping sprint, and launched both yellow feet straight over the bar! Whoosh! My heels cleared the wood by a whisker, sticking the landing on the smooth stone with a triumphant slap.
