After being hired to hack the Cyberdyne AI system, Mouse realizes he is specifically being used to look for Neo. To protect himself, he makes two copies of the data: he gives one to Drex’s crew and the other to his good friend JC, with strict instructions to sell it back to Cyberdyne if anything happens to him.
