Prismatic Alignment

I relocated from the mattress to the smooth glass coffee table. A glass tumbler stood beside a stack of ceramic coasters. I adjusted my stance, aligning my torso directly between the window light and the tumbler. The sunbeam passed through my translucent green frame, then refracted across the curved wall of the glass. On the polished wooden floor below, an intricate pattern formed: an overlapping emerald grid bordered by crisp amber caustic ripples. I rotated my upper torso seven degrees to observe the shift. The projected geometry reconfigured instantly. A balanced calculation.
